Today, the girls and I went to Jemison and picked blackberries and blueberries. We did this for about 3 summers in a row and then didnt go last year because they didnt have a big crop due to the drought. The girls and I really look forward to this adventure because we always come home and make jam together. Funny thing is, neither daughter will eat the jam. I guess the positive of that is: They must really like the fun that we have together picking berries and making the jam because they cannot wait to do this every year.
